Hats off to the councillors who opposed the adoption of the Long-Term Plan — you are legends!
The Mayor can talk about balancing urban against rural services, which is fine, but there is a line where being charged for a non-supplied service is a step too far. I very much
doubt that any city ratepayers would put hands in their pockets and pay to have my septic tank cleaned out or pay for a load of water for my household water tank when it hasn't rained for a while.
Kerry, you will get my vote at the next election, and a big shout out also to the other four councillors who are voting for fair and moral rates.
