More than 100 cars and motorbikes helped raise money for the Cancer Society on Sunday before heading off to Tolaga Bay in convoy.
The annual Daffodil Rally for Cancer is organised by the Vintage Car Club of New Zealand.
Gisborne branch chairman Rod Clague said 130 entry forms were received
for the drive to Tolaga Bay and even more took part in the fundraising show and shine at The Warehouse carpark.
“A special thanks to all those who supported the cause,” Mr Clague said. “It was a great day. There was a big crowd and a wide range of vehicles.
“The American Car Club had cars there, as well as the Vintage Car Club and, of course, it was open to the public and anyone who wanted to come out for a Sunday drive.
