ARMED police were involved this morning in arrests in Tolaga Bay that police said related to the alleged theft of a vehicle from an address in Gisborne city.
At around 5.55am, police received a report a vehicle had been stolen from a property in Derby Street.
“Police responded and Armed
Offenders Squad members were included as a precaution,” a police spokesman said.
“Three people were taken into custody in Tolaga Bay in relation to the matter and inquiries into the incident are continuing.”
