“It was great to get a total clearance, and to have a number of new buyers come on board,” said studmaster Angela Lane.
“The bulls were in really good nick and we got lots of good feedback.
“I would describe it as a steady sale for us and we are happy to see the bulls going to new homes.”
She indicated the stud would hold a low-birth-weight yearling sale in September.
Auctioneer Neville Clark said the sale was “neat and tidy”.
“Good money was paid for the bulls the buyers liked most and there was a bull there for everyone,” he said.
The sale attracted a full bench of buyers and supporters to the Whangara on-farm rostrum.
