Teen TV star Erin Simpson is heading to Tauranga on Friday - and she wants local teens to be TV stars for a day.
The Erin Simpson Show will film here on Friday, for an episode which will screen in the July school holidays.
The show's production assistant, Riley Stewart, said filming
would probably take place in Tauranga CBD.
"We are trying to get as many locals involved as possible. We don't have anything scheduled at the moment. We are just going to film in town so keep an eye out for us."
The show was searching for two "bright and confident" teens to take part in challenges.
The Christchurch-based show, which is made by Jason Gunn's Whitebait Productions, is also filming in Taupo, Tokoroa and Rotorua.
"It's a nice way for us to get up and involve people from other parts of New Zealand.
"We are looking for people who want to have a good time. If you do see us out and about, don't be afraid to come over and say hi."
The talk show is aimed at teenagers and has "games, goodies, celebrities, snacks, fashion, music and free stuff".
The show screens on weekdays at 4.30pm on TV2.
