Horror as Halloween nasty rubs out Joker

The infamous "Halloween wall" is now a blank canvas after the art work was defaced with red paint.
The "graf art" mural had captured the attention of commuters since it appeared on a fence at State Highway 2 at Te Maunga last year.
Property owner Gaylene Davis was disappointed to discover that the wall, painted by Mount Maunganui artist Owen Dippie, had been destroyed on Sunday night.
