A car ended up upside-down in the middle of the road after clipping a parked car on Tweed St.
Emergency services were called to the crash on the Mount Maunganui street yesterday about 12.50pm.
The car was travelling down Tweed St from Ocean Beach Rd, lost control and clipped a
car parked just before Ulster St.
The sole occupant of the car was unhurt but taken to hospital as a precaution.
Head of Western Bay of Plenty road policing Senior Sergeant Ian Campion said the driver of the upturned vehicle was very lucky they did not sustain injuries.
