Whanganui motorcyclists rode in honour of Anzacs on Tuesday - around 50 riders on bikes ranging from sports bikes and tourers to cruisers.
Ian Mosely was among them.
"My Anzac Day started early as usual with the dawn parade," Mr Mosely said.
He took his parents, uncles and children.
His homage to the fallen did not end there.
He was one of about 50 riders to take part in the annual Anzac day charity ride organised by the Whanganui branch of the Ulysses club.
"It's a beautiful day for a ride," Mr Mosely said before the many bikes left their gathering point at Majestic Square and headed towards Cheltenham for lunch.
Ulysses president Rod Anderson was thrilled with the turnout of riders, bolstered by members from the Palmerston North branch riding over to Whanganui in support.
Funds raised from the $8 entry fee per rider will go to St John Ambulance.
