Creative schemes and dreams for Marton Park include a dog exercise area and grandstand upgrade.
Submissions were sought by the Rangitikei District Council to help transform the park.
Next Wednesday a public meeting to discuss the submissions will be held in the council chambers.
Spokeswoman Denise Cervante said there have been various suggestions.
They have included a children's playground, a designated dog exercise area, updating the old grandstand and installing public toilets.
Ms Cervante said there hadn't been any weird or untoward suggestions.
"No, the suggestions have all been very straightforward. There will be a draft report for people to read over."
The park is a central location for many Marton community events, the Harvest Festival being the main one.
As well as being a popular sports venue, Marton Park is also used a concert venues for many outdoor musical events.
The meeting starts at 6.15pm.
