Police have released the name of a 14-year-old boy who died when his bike and a milk tanker collided in Northland on Sunday.
He was Lambros Theodosiou of Moerewa.
He was hit by the front right side of the tanker's trailer unit as he rode out of Wynyard St onto George St, the section of State Highway 1 through Moerewa just before 1am.
He died at the scene.
