All stands have been snapped up for the fifth annual Wanganui Chronicle Home & Lifestyle Show which will be bursting at the seams next weekend.

More than 80 exhibitors will be showing off their goods and services at the Jubilee Stadium over September 6 and 7 - and that means there should be something for everyone.

With entry just a gold coin, it is sure to be a packed house for the two-day extravaganza where many of the stands will be giving away samples as well as running loads of great competitions.

This Wednesday's copy of our Midweek paper will have a 16-page pullout on the show, including a floor plan of who is where.

Cosmetics, virtual reality, engineering, soup-maker, garage doors, roofing, insulation, energy-saving machinery, DIY gear, health advice ... the list goes on. And, of course, perfectly timed for Father's Day on September 7, there's the chance to pick up a last-minute gift for dad.

"The show will offer great products and services to improve your home, and showcase new and exciting ideas," said event manager Alison Hollard.

"We have 10,000 through the doors each year - and this year won't be any different.

"The TV promo exhibits usually draw a crowd and visitors leave with all sorts of goodies."

The doors open from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and from 9am to 4pm on Sunday. Get there early.
