Whanganui's first-ever NZ House & Garden Tour is happening on February 23 and 160 volunteers are needed to make sure the day runs smoothly.
The tours, now in their 10th year and held around the country, raise money for the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. The 2017 tours raised more than $65,000.
Breast Cancer Foundation volunteer manager Erika Rozecka-Lewis says each of the nine houses on the Whanganui tour will be looked after by a team of about 10 volunteers.
"We are looking for supervisors who will run the groups so we need people with people and leadership skills for those roles," Mrs Rozecka-Lewis said.
"The other volunteers will mostly be checking tickets, making sure there are not too many people in the house or in one area at once and directing the flow of people."
