DIDN'T GET AWAY: Whanganui fisherman Kelvin Williams shows off his catch landed on the second day of a three-day national torpedo fishing tournament held at 90 Mile Beach recently.
Mr Williams was a member of one of five Whanganui teams who competed under the Kentiki banner.
The locals all used Whanganui-made Kentiki torpedo long liners and they finished fourth, sixth, ninth, 10th and 11th overall in the 60-team contest.
