The Gallagher site is the place to be for farmers wanting to see the very best in Electronic Identification and Energizer technology at the 2012 National Fieldays. Helping farmers comply with July 1 NAIT regulations is a key focus.

Key account Manager for Gallagher Animal Management Matt Macfie says
Gallagher knows the new regulations will be on the farmers mind so this year their site will showcase a wide range of electronic identification and weigh

scale products which meet NAIT standards.

He says to ensure customers walk away confident in their use of the Gallagher weighing and electronic identification products they're providing practical information sessions and training on site.

''To ensure farmers are comfortable using the new technology we're offering interactive displays to demonstrate

how the technology works. In addition to making customer compliant we want to ensure they're competent, and confident, with the technology.''

Gallagher will also be launching new NAIT-compliant software for tag reading equipment. This software has been designed to make the collection and reporting of electronic identification information as simple as possible.

''Users will find this software very user-friendly.''

Gallagher will also give farmers a sneak preview of a new electronic tag reading product that Matt says ''take portable tag reading to a whole new level''. This product will be released later this year.

The theme for the 2012 Fieldays is 'The Changing Face of Farming', making Gallagher's focus on electronic identification a good fit ''because the technology is already changing how farmers do things on the farm by making it considerably easier to collect information that is invaluable for farm management decisions''.

Gallagher will also display their outstanding range of electric fencing products, including two brand new products - i Series Fence Energizer Systems and the Multi Strand Electric Tape Gate.

Both these products are great examples of practical products offering brilliant simplicity. Available in three models - M1200i, M1800i and M2800i - the ground-breaking i Series Energizers feature top quality componentry and are designed to give farmers peace of mind that their fences are being constantly monitored for optimal performance.

In a world-first, the unique i series technology enables farmers to monitor up to six separate 'zones' of their fencing system. Each model comes with an Energizer Controller that enables the user to monitor the condition of the fence and performance of the Energizer. This controller can be used to turn the Energizer on or off, set alarm thresholds, and make adjustments to the target output voltage.

The ability to locate the controller away from the Energizer is a major bonus, and the Energizers come with a range of features that ''have to be seen to be believed''.

To improve functionality even further, i Series Energizers are available with a range of optional features, including an SMS Energizer Controller module that enables fence performance to be monitored and controlled from  anywhere with cell coverage. This means if a serious problem with a fence is detected; the farmer is notified immediately via a text message to your mobile phone.

The Multi Strand Electric Tape Gate is an all-in-one permanent electrified tape gate that provides a low cost gate solution for practically any width gateway. Easy to use and quick to assemble, it comes complete with mounting hardware and 12.5mm tape.

There are two variations of this product; the 2-strand, 8m version for cattle and the 4-strand, 6m variant for sheep.

Both gates come with additional clips allowing the gates to hold 40mm tape.

Tape length can be adjusted to fit the gateway, making it the most complete and easy to install all-in-one multi-strand electric gate on the market.

Matt Macfie says a range of product specials will be offered during Fieldays, with generous giveaways a feature of the 'tie down a deal' promotion.
