Rotorua United have scored their second win in the Federation Cup. United beat Katikati 4-0, with Shadley Petersen, Gary Hamilton-Irvine, Steve Rogers and Josh O'Sullivan finding the back of the net. In other matches, Ngongotaha lost to Melville 5-3 and Whakatane Town beat Tauranga City 6-2.
Kernohan second
MOTORSPORT:
Turangi's Dave Kernohan had his best finish in the UDC V8 Ute championships, placing second behind Auckland's Andrew Waite at the Taupo Motorsport Park. Kernohan, driving his Ford Falcon, was 11th in the second race and fourth in the last race of the day.

Rotorua Cricket Association are holding a Junior Cricket Forum for parents, coaches, teachers and managers. The keynote speaker is Northern District Crickets operations manager Pat Malcon. The event is free and will be held at Smallbone Park Pavilion tomorrow at 5.30pm.
