Ngongotaha AFC are on fire this season.

They have notched up two wins from two games and share the top of the table with early contenders AFC Fury and Tauranga Old Blues.

Local fans will have an opportunity to support the orange army tomorrow as they go in search of their third win in a row, at Stembridge Rd from 2.45pm.

They will play Matamata Swifts, who won their first game last weekend in a close match against Tauranga City.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the scale, Rotorua United, Otumoetai and Melville are all yet to register a point and will be eager not to let the gap between the leaders widen.

Rotorua United play defending champions Taupo at Crown Park, with points and the prestigious Challenge Shield up for grabs.

United have a lot of improving to do after losing 5-1 and 7-1 in their past two games.

Taupo, who were unbeaten last season, find themselves in uncharted territory with just one point from their first two games and will look to lift against United.

Otumoetai are away to the in-form and unbeaten AFC Fury, while Melville travel to Cambridge in search of their first point.

Unbeaten Tauranga Old Blues play Waikato Unicol and Tauranga City host Whakatane Town. With the possible exception of the Otumoetai v Fury clash, there is little to choose between the other 10 teams.

Division two draw for tomorrow: Cambridge v Papamoa, Tauranga City v West Hamilton, Tauranga Boys' College v Matamata, Hukanui Rototuna v Tokoroa, and Te Awamutu v Rotorua United.
