Rotorua's two premier rugby sides have both suffered losses today at home.

Rotoiti lost to Opotiki 14-12 at Emery Park to continue their poor run of results.

Meanwhile, Tauranga Sports were too good for Whakarewarewa at Puarenga Park, winning that match 34-26. Tauranga Sports raced away to a 26-0 lead at half time.
