Whakarewarewa have defeated Rangiuru 50-5 as they charge towards the playoffs.

Whaka knew a win today, away from home, would help them keep their spot safe in the top four. And they did just that with an impressive victory.

There is now only one round left before the playoffs and Whaka look likely to make the cut for the semifinals.

Meanwhile, Rotoiti were handed a tough loss at the hands of Te Puke today 68-7.
