It's do or die for the four teams battling for a finals spot in the Reserve Grade Cricket's Over 40 Series.
Central, who finished top of the table, will go up against Bay of Plenty Indians, while Geyser City have the unenviable job of heading down to Owen Delany Parkto take on the Taupo Wanderers.
The Wanderers have been beaten only once on home soil this year and are favourites. But the Rotorua side who led the competition earlier in the season need just one of their top-order batsmen to find winning form.
Recent weeks have seen Geyser struggling with batting. As with most good teams, form can come in waves, and the side appear to be at the trough of a wave.
Lead by Karl McKnight, the side struggled to put on a defendable total against the Wanderers, but it's a new match and the Rotorua side will be keen to take the win and secure a place in next weekend's final.
Central are the team to beat, and it would appear a big ask for the Indians to beat a rampant Central side who have found their players all peaking at the right time.
However, the Indians only have to look towards their premier side for inspiration. They picked up their first premier win after three seasons in the competition.
Central captain Rees Uerata will be telling his boys not to take anything for granted and maintain their high standards right through to the final.
