Rotorua's two premier sides are in action this weekend, with the pick of the round swinging the way of Ngongotaha and Taupo.
Taupo lie second behind Pikiao, while Ngongotaha cling to a semifinals spot in fourth place.
Taupo just beat bottom side Forestland (Tokoroa) last weekend, 28-26 at home, and
will be looking to improve. They were the best in the competition earlier but have struggled for results of late.
Ngongotaha, meanwhile, have struggled for numbers, with only 13 players available in last weekend's defeat against Pacific.
They should be a lot stronger at Puketawhero Park tomorrow against Taupo.
