League: Ngongotaha's season goes on line

With only four rounds to go it is make-or-break time for Ngongotaha.

Ngongotaha are tussling with Forestland (Tokoroa) for a place in the top four of the Bay of Plenty Rugby League premier competition, which reaches the semi-finals stage next month.

Ngongotaha face off against a strong Pacific (Tokoroa) side tomorrow in a match Ngongotaha will be looking to convert into competition points.

You have to go back to a Saturday in early May to find Ngongotaha's last victory, but they will feel like they can turn their season around if they finish strongly in the competition.

The match between Ngongotaha and Pacific kicks off at 2.30pm at Puketawhero Park.

In the other premier game, Forestland will play at home against second-placed Taupo tomorrow.

Taupo handed Pikiao their first lose since round one last weekend and will be high in confidence going into this match.

Meanwhile, Forestland are in a similar position to Ngongotaha and will be looking to lift themselves closer to the playoffs with a win here.

The players will also have added incentive in both games with this round their last opportunity to show off before the Town versus Country representative match next weekend.
