Five teams are still in the running to book a place in the semifinals of the Rotorua/Taupo senior reserve grade competition.
The reserve grade after-Christmas competition will heat up this weekend during the final round of regular season action.
Currently five teams are still in the hunt to make the
semifinals - Eastern Pirates, Taupo Wanderers, Bay of Plenty Indians, Geyser 1 and Geyser Development.
The after-Christmas competition is the biggest prize in the reserve grade and all the top sides will be eyeing the trophy.
So far this season Taupo Wanderers have won the before-Christmas competition and the Rotorua-based BOP Indians have won the T20 competition.
