A truck carrying a digger has rolled in Galatea.

A police spokeswoman said police were called at 8.20am to the intersection of Galatea and Black Rds.

One person was in the truck and the road was blocked.

A St John spokeswoman said one person has been taken by ambulance to Whakatāne Hospital in a moderate condition.
