"Actually probably not, so this has to be my first time."
The tour started in Whangarei and wound its way down to the bottom of the Upper North Island at 7.30pm on Sunday at Rotorua's Civic Centre.
Six comedians, including Bracewell, will each serve up 10 to 15 minutes of stand-up comedy which will make for a diverse show.
"We're all really different with very different styles, something I believe will keep the audience captivated."
Bracewell said performing in familiar places was a comfort and admitted the tour would take her out of her comfort zone.
"Stand-up can be pretty difficult but the more you do it, the more you get better. If it was like basketball I'd be aiming for the NBA."
And judging by her super-impressive resume, she's well on her way.
With her first solo show at the New Zealand Comedy Festival this year, Bracewell won Best Newcomer 2017 and was nominated for Best Female Comedian at last year's New Zealand Comedy Guild Awards.
She also took out the grand prize at the 2015 Raw Comedy Quest.
She spends most of her time writing for The Project, producing a radio show or blogging to her 200,000 followers.
Bracewell will be joined at the Civic by Brendhan Lovegrove, Fan Brigade, Frickin Dangerous Bro, Brendon Green and Eli Matthewson.
