A recent challenging audition saw Sarah land a lead role in Antigone - a Greek drama featuring Year 13 drama students. Sarah attacked this challenge with diligence and determination.
She was punctual to rehearsals, and was always prepared and ready to do what was necessary.
Antigone was one of the earliest known literary female heroines who stood for what she believed in even when this was against her King and country. Sarah emulates such a character, responsible and prepared to speak out when necessary.
She is prepared to fight for what is right and will fight to the bitter end - like Antigone.
Sarah is encouraging of others and is able to pull people together and exhorts them to give off their best. Sarah is a team player but is also her own person at the same time, a pleasure to know and work with.
Academically, Sarah takes full responsibility for her studies and endeavours to do her best at all times.
She has a positive attitude and is an excellent role model for her peers.
A wonderful work ethic and an ability to work effectively in a team are strengths for Sarah.
Academics aside, Sarah is an effective communicator and valued sporting team member.
She plays netball and has been instrumental this year in making sure her team won their grade for the first time.
