Even though Raggamuffin 2010's headline act has pulled out, promoters are confident of the high calibre of performers at this weekend's festival.
Wyclef Jean was billed to headline Saturday's reggae festival at the Rotorua International Stadium, but will miss it to focus on Haiti.
The Haitian-born hip-hop star plans to raise money for the island after it was devastated by a massive 7.0 earthquake on January 12.
Despite Jean missing the concert, promoter Andrew McManus from Andrew McManus Presents said he felt confident they would still be delivering a strong line-up.
The headliner will now be Shaggy while Lauryn Hill, who was meant to play a set with Sly and Robbie, will instead perform with her own band and Sly and Robbie will too.
"The fact that Lauryn Hill will play her own set, while Sly and Robbie will do the same adds a new dimension to the festival," Mr McManus said.
Mr McManus said although Jean pulling out of this weekend's festival was a hassle, it was nothing like what was happening in Haiti.
"Some things like what has happened in Haiti are beyond our control and we as producers of the event thank our patrons for the continued support and will bring Wyclef Jean back as part of the line-up for 2011," he said.
