The Baywide Division One competition gets under way this weekend with three Rotorua clubs playing at home.
The division one competition has been scaled back to one round this year and will only feature nine weeks of rugby before the playoffs.
Rotorua clubs Kahukura and Waikite are the most likely
to make the playoffs this season after strong performances in the local Central Bay of Plenty competition, during recent months.
Kahukura will host Te Teko tomorrow while Marist St Michael's and Ngongotaha will also play at home against Arataki and Katikati.
Meanwhile, Waikite will hit the road to play Paroa at Lawson Park.
