The Chiefs will bring a regular season game to Rotorua next year.

The Chiefs have not held a regular season match at Rotorua International Stadium for a few seasons but will hold a game here on Friday May 22, against the Bulls.

Fans will get the opportunity to see superstars like Brodie Retallick, Liam Messam, Aaron Cruden, Sam Cane and Sonny Bill Williams in action.

Chiefs chief executive Andrew Flexman said they were happy to bring a match to Rotorua.

"We have worked hard to get a round robin match in Rotorua for the first time in a number years and it will be important for the people of Rotorua to get out and support the Chiefs so that we can justify playing matches in the region in the future. We also look forward to the Chiefs returning to Taranaki for two important matches in 2015."
