New Zealand's leading spa has again been voted in the world's top 10 thermal, medical and natural spas by Conde Nast Traveller magazine readers.
The Polynesian Spa in Rotorua was placed seventh by readers of the leading travel magazine.
Polynesian Spa managing director Martin Lobb said the spa also made the top
10 in the readers' choice award in 2004, 2007 and 2009. Each time, the Rotorua facility was the only spa beyond Europe to make the list.
"Even to be on the radar is nice, but it's a huge honour for us with it being a readers' choice award," said Mr Lobb.
"We are thrilled to be in the top 10 once again. We pride ourselves on delivering world class quality products and always look for new and unique experiences for our customers. It is fantastic to get this kind of international recognition."
Topping the list was Italy's Terme di Saturnia Spa & Golf Resort in Tuscany, followed by the Clinique La Prairie in Montreux, Switzerland and in third, the SHA Wellness Clinic in Alicante, Spain.
