There is a hive of activity at Rotorua Library, with Matariki celebrations and school holiday programmes under way.

Although the Matariki Maumahara event todaywas cancelled, there are other events for people to enjoy.

The Matariki Mystery Art Bag session is on today, where tamariki can create a Matariki craft using a bag of mystery art materials in one of two sessions.

The 10.30am session is open to all ages with an easier craft for little hands and the 1.30pm session is for ages 5 and up.
