Friday Feb 14:

Sport BoP Go by Bike (to breakfast).

From 7am to 9am. Stop at one or more of the four checkpoints and pick up a spot prize and go in the draw to win a new mountain bike.

The Redwoods Coast.

Registration from 3.15pm at the Redwood Sails, Longmile Rd. Race starts at 5.30pm. No pedaling, just momentum - who coasts furthest, wins.

National Mountain Bike Championships - cross-country.

From 10am starting at Radio Hut Rd, Whaka Forest. Plus practice and seeding for the downhill champs.

Registration from 8.30am for a 9am start. A ride for all the family from the Waipa mountain bike car park.

IBIS Bike the Lake.

Circumnavigate Lake Rotorua. Ride one or two 42km laps - a top cycling challenge for elite racers to recreational riders. From 7.30am at the Village Green, Lakefront.

Frocks on Bikes and Boats.

From 10am starting at the Tarawera Rd end of Long Mile Rd to the Lakeland Queen for a trip on the lake for high tea.

The "Yeah Boi Sick" race.

From 5pm at the bottom of Nursery Hill. A fundraiser for the James Dodds Memorial Foundation.

Waipa Ladies Group Ride.

From 10am to 11.30am. Littlies having fun on the Village Green.

Skyline Gravity Park - Open Day.

From midday to 5pm at Skyline Rotorua. Gondola up - ride down. Check out the new trails, including the race course for Friday's Sprint Warrior.

OGO Roll it, Ride it, Race it Dual Slalom.

From 4pm at the OGO site on Ngongotaha Rd. Pairs knockout racing on a purpose built slalom course.

Lone Star Cycling Rotorua Bryce Rd Ride.

From 6pm starting at the corner of Bryce Rd and State Highway 30. A 26km road race in the countryside.

Friday Feb 21:

Skyline Sprint Warrior Race Day.

At Skyline Rotorua from midday to 8pm on the Empire of Dirt built specialty course. Gondola up - ride down. Test your skills on this fast, full-on course.

From 10am to 4.30pm starting and finishing at Eat Streat. Multi-stage racing at its best on trails in the Whaka Forest.

Like-a-Bike Kiddie Cross.

From 10am at the Rotorua Youth Centre on the corner of Te Ngae Rd and Fenton St. A short course, off road, circuit race for children 2 to 7 years, including a balance bike race for the littlies.

MTB Adventure Quest.

From 9am at the Waipa mountain bike car park. Map and bikes - great for families.

Waipa Bike Fair.

From 9am to 5pm at the Mountain Bike Rotorua and Waipa car park.

Bike stuff - demos, swap meet, food stalls, wine and beer garden plus great entertainment.

Pimp Your Bike.

From 10 to 4pm in the Government Gardens. Small kids and big kids at heart spruce up their wheels for a fun event.

Telecom Inner City Street Criterium Kiddie Crit.

From 12.45am at Eat Streat. A short course road criterium for children aged from 2 to 7 years.
