A man has been treated by St John Ambulance for non life-threatening injuries after police were called to an incident in Western Heights tonight.
Senior Sergeant Steven Shaw of the Bay of Plenty police district command centre said police were called earlier tonight to a Tania Cres property after several
calls from members of the public about a disorder incident.
Mr Shaw said there were reports of people with weapons outside a property on Tania Cres, so police were armed as a precaution. The Armed Offenders Squad were not called.
