Police cordon off Taharangi St

Police were called to an address in Koutu following reports of a gunshot.

At 11am police arrived to an address on Taharangi St and searched the property.

A police spokeswoman said no firearm was located.

Cordons were put in place as a precaution and police were continuing to investigate.
