Rotorua police are continuing to investigate an armed robbery at the Kawaha Point Superette.
Two men entered the superette around 1.45pm on Tuesday with a firearm and demanded money.
An amount of cash and cigarettes was taken.
The men left on foot, walking down Kawaha Point Rd toward Fairy SpringsRd.
The two men were described as wearing black hoodies. One wore dark coloured shorts. The other man wore long black pants, a pair of scuff sandals, and carried a backpack.
Detective Sergeant Tony Colby from Rotorua CIB said they would still like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or any suspicious activity around this time.
