"It was exciting to see so many entries and so much support for the Steamers alternate jersey competition," he said.
"All three finalists were chosen because they not only had cool designs, but also great stories and meaning behind their creations. We promise that the winning jersey will be worn with real pride by the team this season."
The winner will be decided by the Bay of Plenty community at 4pm on Friday on its Facebook page.
Supporters can like one design, and the design with the most likes will be the winner.
The 2014 alternate jersey will be made available in limited numbers only to the public via presales. The winner will receive a jersey that can be signed by the 2014 Bay of Plenty Steamers team.
