Good morning, today marks the first edition of the new-look Rotorua Daily Post.
We've been previewing our changes to morning delivery and compact format for a while now, and together it's the biggest change in our 128-year history. But our other major change may be news to you.
Our new name - the Rotorua Daily Post - speaks for itself. We've always been a Rotorua paper providing great coverage of local news across the city, district and region, and we will continue to, but our name didn't necessarily reflect our location.
But with a new name, new look, new shape, new delivery time and a renewed drive to bring you strong local journalism, we are pumped for 2013.
The Rotorua Daily Post is at the heart of local life, and our new-look paper reflects that. I hope you enjoy our historic first edition and welcome your feedback.
