Defending champion Peter Bengston is returning to Rotorua this year to try and claim back-to-back titles at the World 240s Superstock Championships.

Drivers from all over New Zealand and four from Great Britain are entered for the event which is being held tomorrow at Paradise Valley Raceway.

Thousands of fans turned out to watch the racing last year and a big crowd is expected again this weekend.

The format of the feature event tomorrow will include three races, with the top ranked driver after those three races taking home the title.

Defending champion Bengston (Palmerston North) has automatic entry into the event tomorrow night alongside the four international drivers from Great Britain and Andy McCabe from Hawke's Bay.
