Save A 70-year-old man has been flown to hospital after he came off his motorcycle on the Desert Rd.
Police said the crashed occurred about 1pm today. The man came off his motorcycle onto gravel on the side of State Highway 1.
He was airlifted in a serious condition to Palmerston
North Hospital.
Police said no other vehicle was involved.
There was no road closure and traffic is free flowing.
