Rotorua's exciting new lakeside concert on January 2, featuring Fat Freddy's Drop, just got a whole lot bigger with more great soul and reggae artists added to the bill.
Joining the line-up are the winners of the Soulfest Search for a Band competition, The Boom Cat, dubtronic jungle dwellers Manalionand local ska heroes, Strangely Arousing.
Headliners Fat Freddy's Drop recently sold out London's Alexandra Palace with 10,500 fans packing the venue.
Their latest single, Slings and Arrows has shot straight to the number 1 slot on the New Zealand charts.
African soul, reggae artist Meta and the Cornerstones, and funk remix masters Hipstamatics round off this special line-up in the Rotorua lakefront location.
Gates will now open at 4pm due to the additional artists and the event is family-friendly with 12-year-olds and under free of charge.
A wide variety of food and beverages will be on offer. Tickets are available at Eventfinda with a limited amount of Earlybird tickets available for $49. Earlybird VIP Tickets have sold out, but there are still VIP tickets available for $95. Limited corporate packages are also available and interested companies should email jackie@jacman.co.nz.
The VIP and Corporate Tent area features its own bar, toilets and a chill-out area that extends all the way up to the stage.
