A Rotorua resident is more than $10,000 richer after winning second division Lotto.

The ticket was sold at Selwyn Heights Four Square. It was one of 24 tickets to have won $10,610 each in Saturday night's draw.

A Lotto NZ spokesperson said the prize was claimed yesterday at New World West End supermarket.

Meanwhile a Tokoroa couple are celebrating after spinning $100,000 on the Winning Wheel.

Known only as Eva and Rewiti, the pair waited until just before Saturday night's big spin to let their four children, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild know of their television appearance.
