A ticket sold at Countdown Rotorua won $1 million in last night's Lotto draw.

It is the third week in a row that Rotorua has won big in Lotto.

Last night's draw saw a ticket sold at Countdown Rotorua, Fenton St, win the first division prize of $1 million.

Last week, a Rotorua player won $500,000 with Lotto First Division and two weeks ago, a Rotorua family took home a $24.3 million prize with Powerball First Division.

Powerball was not struck this evening and has jackpotted to $6 million.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning locations should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ ticket-checker app.
