Jackknifed truck causes delays

A truck has jackknifed on State Highway 2 in the Waioeka Gorge completely blocking the road.

The incident happened towards the Opotiki end of the gorge about 7.30a.m.

No injuries were reported.

Contractors have been contacted but it is not known at this stage how long it will take to clear the road.

There are no diversions available and motorists can expect delays.

Journeys should be delayed if possible.
