Rotorua's gardening enthusiasts will be pleased to hear Gardeners' Gold compost is back.
Gardeners' Gold compost has Bay of Plenty Regional Council consent and is available from 1pm to 3pm on weekdays at the compost yard alongside the Wastewater Treatment Plant on Te Ngae Rd.
The high quality, unscreened compost is $10 for a single-axle trailer load, or $15 per cubic metre for larger loads.
Rotorua District Council utilities plant manager Andy Bainbridge said Gardeners' Gold is made up of biosolids from the treatment plant, greenwaste, grass, bark and woodwaste, and meets NZ Guidelines for pathogen kill and limits for heavy metals.
