Ngongotaha defeated South Auckland Rangers in the Chatham Cup on Monday and lost to Cambridge last Saturday in the Waibop Federation One competition.

Tomorrow they will host AFC Fury (Tauranga) at Stembridge Rd.

AFC Fury currently sit at the top the Federation One competition and are undefeated this season.

If Ngongotaha can produce a win tomorrow, they would not only help themselves but all the other front runners chasing AFC Fury.

The top five teams in the competition - AFC Fury, Tauranga City, Cambridge, Tauranga Old Blues, and Ngongotaha - are only separated by seven competition points.

Meanwhile, Rotorua United are looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat to Katikati last weekend.

The big match-up saw both undefeated sides in the Federation Two competition face off, with Katikati winning the match 3-1.

United will still be eyeing the title this year in the Federation Two competition but will need to win most, if not all, of their remaining matches.

They face off against the Ngongotaha reserve team tomorrow at Neil Hunt Park.
