Rotorua singer Elizabeth Marvelly has been chosen to sing the New Zealand National Anthem when the All Blacks take on Ireland at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton next month.

Marvelly, who will embark on a Heartland tour of the North Island in July, will also sing Tarakihi at the June 23
rugby fixture, a song that has become a favourite among her fans.

Marvelly said she was beyond honoured to be asked to sing the New Zealand anthem again for the All Blacks.

Marvelly became a lucky charm for the All Blacks last year, performing at Bledisloe and Tri-Nations games as well as at the Rugby World Cup semi-final.
