Bay of Plenty Indians head into the post season on top after a blazing 37-ball hundred by Vinay Pathania.

Pathania ended on 111 in their 5 wicket win over Taupō Old Boys to cement top spot on the Lakelands championship table after the last weekend of round play.

BOP Indians will face the Strikers 11 in quarter final action this weekend while Geyser John Paul College play Rotorua Lions, Geyser Western Heights High School face Lake Taupō and Central take on Taupō Old Boys 1.

Pathania's stunning knock was well supported by Parv Mehta (54) and Shonit Chandra (43) in their chase of 242 set by Taupo after a classy 80 from Simon Smith.

In other matches Central defeated Geyser JPC after chasing down 176.

Geyser's Amit Kumar and Liam Kelly scored thirties while Central captain Paul Wylie was the pick of the Central bowlers with 3/29.

Julian Danby and Prashant Patel got the job done for Central hitting 36 and 35 respectively.

Geyser WHHS beat Taupō Old Boys 2 by three wickets with Hayden Mitchell the pick of the Geyser bowlers with four wickets and Matt Collier's 37 getting them home.

Josh Simpson capped off a good all round performance with 29no after grabbing three wickets.

Lake Taupō lost to the Strikers 11.
