Bay of Plenty Indians just keep on winning.

They picked up their third consecutive win in the Rotorua/Taupo senior reserve grade on Saturday, against Lake Taupo, and are starting to look like the team to beat.

Lake Taupo batted first and were all out for 107 runs - Darryn Wilkins top-scored with 23. Indians bowler Param Singh took two wickets for nine runs and Harjinder Singh took three for 20.

The run chase was no walk in the park for Bay of Plenty Indians, who lost seven wickets on their way to a winning total of 108 runs. Aman Singh led the way with 26 not out, while Sandeep Paul chipped in with a handy 18 runs.

Meanwhile, Geyser City John Paul College Old Boys absolutely hammered Taupo Old Boys 2, winning by 128 runs.

The Geyser bowlers proved the total was more than defendable, ripping through the Taupo batting line up for just 51 runs. James Coutts took three wickets for just one run, off one over, Gordy O'Donoghue took two wickets for five runs and Kelly took two wickets for 13 runs. Taupo opener Chris Downes top-scored with 27 runs.
