Derek Hill, Bonaventure Allan-Moetaua and Kalauni Pouvalu will perform in Rotorua as part of the Three Tenors and a Soprano concert.

New Zealand's own three tenors will perform in Rotorua next week.

The Three Tenors and a Soprano will be at the Rotorua Baptist Church on Tuesday as part of the Operatunity Daytime Concert Series.

Derek Hill, Bonaventure Allan-Moetaua and Kalauni Pouvalu and Susan Boland will perform arias and songs made famous by the international tenors and classics that are favourites of opera lovers.

Concert pianist Ludwig Treviranus will also join the group and has been described as one of the country's finest and most versatile pianists.

Operatunity company director and singer Susan Boland said these concert series were a unique kind of concert experience, in that they offered the audience a chance to meet and get to know the performers on a regular basis. "People often create lasting friendships and meet lots of new people each month at the concerts ..."
