Auckland Gospel Choir to perform in Rotorua

Rotorua will have the opportunity to enjoy the voices of the Auckland Gospel Choir at a one-night only concert.

Upon invitation by Reverend Ieremia Amani of the Rotorua Methodist Church, the choir will perform in Rotorua on Saturday at 7pm.

The concert is entitled 'Audience of One' and entry is by donation.

The choir was founded in 2012 by brothers Seumanu Simon and Toluma'anave Laveia'ava Isaiah Matafai. Its vision is to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to transform nations and generations.

The choir is made up of singers from across Auckland, representing various denominations and is renowned for its strong Polynesian sound.

It has a track record of more than 100 public performances, including season 2 of the X Factor television series, the Jonah Lomu Memorial Service at Eden Park and performing many times with the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra.

When: Saturday December 3, 7pm
Where: Rotorua Methodist Church, 187 Old Taupo Rd, Hillcrest, Rotorua
Cost: Entry by donation
