A car has been stolen from a petrol station on Malfroy Rd.

A police spokeswoman confirmed police had been called to the site about 12.15pm.

"It looks like a car was stolen on Malfroy Rd and we have arrived on scene."

She said the car had been stolen from 330 Malfroy Rd, which is the address of Challenge Gas Station.

She said more than one person had been involved in the car being taken.

A worker at Challenge said they were unsure what was going on.

"Police are here at the moment, we just saw a woman come in and park in the parking area, they are now talking to her."

He said it wasn't a customer of theirs and they were still open.
